Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Steel Cut Oats
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Allspice
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 Apples
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt

Directions

  • Peel and dice 1 large apple.
  • In a medium size pot, put 4 cups of water on high. Add apple chunks and bring to a boil.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and then oats. Reduce heat to low and cover.
  • Cook 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir. Add 1.5 teaspoons vanilla.
  • Serve with honey or brown sugar.
