This is a hearty rich succulent twist on a traditional Italian recipe. Osso Buco is a classic Italian comfort food that traditionally uses veal shank. This version uses beef shank which brings amazing flavor and the cooking method makes it amazingly tender too. It can be served over pasta, polenta, or my family's favorite: mashed potatoes. Much of the price of this recipe comes from pantry items (olive oil, balsamic vinegar, worcestershire sauce, pepper...)
