Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons Beef Better than Bouillon
  • 2 Teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 6 Ounces Tomato Paste
  • 14 1/2 Ounces Diced Canned Tomatoes
  • 1 Pound Carrots
  • 1 Pound Potatoes
  • 14 1/2 Ounces Canned Green Beans

Directions

  • Peel potatoes and cube in 1 inch pieces. Peel and slice carrots in 1/4 inch slices. Finely dice onions.
  • Heat a 6 quart pan on medium high heat. Add hamburger and onions and cook till hamburger is brown and onions are translucent.
  • Add chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt and pepper and cook until spices are fragrant.
  • Add 10 cups of water, carrots, potatoes, bouillon, tomato sauce and tomato paste. Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 25 minutes.
  • Add green beans and Worcestershire sauce. Cook 5 more minutes.
